After several enjoyable years drawing architecture, I’ve decided to revisit my old love of abstract landscapes.

The Northern landscape is rich with variation, from beautiful rolling hills to flat huge skies, breathtaking estuaries to run-down industrial ghosts.

I love to submerge myself in the nature around me, feeling its mood and trying to read the story it tells.

I’ll be travelling around, capturing its compelling visual tales, before laying them out before me as I experience them.

The first two collections are Estuary English- abstract landscapes inspired by the Humber Estuary and Anywhere Away - a series of paintings capturing the endless skies and fields of East Yorkshire’s farmland.
